Switzerland is celebrating 100 years since the birth of Dada, but Africa is at the centre of Museum Rietberg’s Dada show in Zurich. Dada Africa (18 March-17 July) is the first exhibition to present Dada works alongside art from Africa, Oceania, Asia and America. The exhibits are mostly from the museum’s collection of African works amassed by Han Coray, a Swiss art dealer who collected African art and also supported the Dadaists. The exhibition is a partnership between the museum and the Berlinische Galerie, to which it will travel this summer (4 August-7 November).
